Cookie Policy
Vecti Tech Ltd ("we", "us", "our") Last updated: 19 May 2026 Effective date: 17 April 2026
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites maintain secure sessions and remember limited settings.
2. How we currently use cookies
The Vecti website and web application use a small number of essential cookies. We keep cookie use to a minimum.
2.1 Essential cookies (always on)
These cookies are required for the website and authenticated dashboard to function.
| Cookie type | Purpose | Provider |
|---|---|---|
| Authentication session cookies | Keep you signed in securely | Supabase |
| Refresh/session continuity cookies | Maintain your authenticated session | Supabase |
| Security cookies | Protect against common request-forgery and session abuse patterns | Vecti / platform infrastructure |
2.2 Product analytics cookies
Public marketing pages do not set analytics cookies in the V1 observability scope.
Where PostHog product analytics is enabled inside the authenticated dashboard or accountant portal, PostHog may set ph_* first-party analytics cookies. These cookies help Vecti understand where signed-in users get blocked in core app workflows. They are not used for advertising, cross-site tracking, or selling data. See docs/legal/privacy-policy.md §2.5 for the matching processing purpose and legal basis.
If Vecti later enables public website or marketing analytics, we will update this policy and add an appropriate consent flow before those cookies are used.
3. Cookies we do not currently use
We do not currently use:
- advertising cookies
- social media tracking pixels
- cross-site tracking cookies
- optional personalisation cookies on the website
4. How to manage cookies
You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you:
- view stored cookies
- delete specific cookies or all cookies
- block cookies from specific sites
- block all third-party cookies
Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing in to Vecti's web app.
5. Mobile app
The Vecti mobile app does not use browser cookies. Authentication is handled through secure tokens stored on your device. If we enable mobile analytics or additional tracking later, we will update the relevant legal and store disclosures before rollout.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if our cookie usage changes. We will update the "Last updated" date when we do.
